Legacy Portraits Project
Legacy Portraits is a heart-led project dedicated to honoring senior citizens in Ventura County with a fully styled, professional portrait experience—completely free of charge. Each session includes professional hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling, designed to make participants feel celebrated, seen, and cherished.
We are offering this experience to 12–16 seniors each year, focusing especially on those who may not otherwise have the opportunity for a personal photoshoot.

What each session includes
Each Legacy Portrait session is a meaningful experience designed to honor and celebrate the life and story of a senior in our community. Sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes and include two portrait styles: one dressed-up look with access to beautiful gowns and accessories, and another that captures the participant in their everyday wear—showcasing both elegance and authenticity. During the session, I’ll also gather their personal story—memories, wisdom, and anything they wish to share. These portraits and stories will be thoughtfully compiled into the Legacy Portraits Coffee Table Book, preserving their legacy for generations to come.
